The judges stated that Marshall McCann Architects, in winning ‘Green Architectural Practice Ireland’:
“clearly run a practice that is dedicated to reducing their carbon footprint in design & operational processes. They have considerable knowledge of Passive House construction. Marshall McCann have a careful, considered & measured body of work, making a clear, positive impact, making continuous improvement as a practice goal. A great ambassador in this field!”
On our ‘House of the Year Ireland’ win, for Silver Bark House, the judges stated:
“The project was grounded faithfully in dwelling form in the rural landscape, demonstrating a strong nod to modernism, developing a sympathetic but clear contemporary language, & built to Passive House standards. The judges commended the great use of materials and finishes throughout. Excellent use of sustainable concepts, delivering a highly sustainable and beautiful home.”
